Henry Eugene Bradley

Henry Eugene (Gene) Bradley, 86, of Elizabethtown, IN died April 10, 2020. He was born September 15, 1933 in Rockville, IN to Elder Ernest and Martha Bradley. He graduated from Clark Township (Whiteland, IN) High School, Class of 1951. Mr. Bradley served in the US Navy (1952 to1956) and was a veteran of the Korean War. He received a BSEE from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology in 1960 and an MSEE from the University of New Mexico in 1962. Mr. Bradley worked for Sandia National Laboratory (1960 to 1963), Argonne National Laboratory (1963 to 1966), Naval Air Warfare Center, Indianapolis (1966 to 1993) and the State of Tennessee Air Pollution Control Division (1993 to 1998). He married Esteline Janice Drake on December 25, 1956. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, daughters, Carla and Lynne of Georgia, grandson Rhett, great-grandchildren, Raylan and Dakota, brother, Fred Bradley, and several nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be held on Tuesday at the Stilesville, IN Cemetery, conducted by Elder Todd Durnil. A memorial service is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2020, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Legion National Headquarters through the funeral home.
