SERVICES:FUNERAL: Will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday October 6, 2018 at Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Whitmore officiating. VISITATION: Will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday. BURIAL: Will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: May be made to the American Diabetes Association or St. John’s Lutheran Church at Whitecreek. (Links are provided at the bottom right of this page) Herbert B. Stiltz Jr., 85, of Columbus, passed away at 10:00 a.m. on October 1, 2018 at Columbus Regional Hospital. Herbert was born April 5, 1933 in New Haven, Kentucky, the son of Herbert B. Sr. and Mary Lucille Boone Stiltz. He married Connie E. Conrad on January 2,1953. Herb was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and reading. His greatest joy was his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren. Survivors include his wife; a son Kim A. (Susan) Stiltz of Columbus; daughters Dawn E. (Christopher) Boyd and Erin (Rick) Jaggers both of Columbus; grandchildren Seth Stiltz, Katie (Kevin) Wilhelm, Drew (Eva) Boyd, and Kyle (Lisa Worth) Jaggers; great-grandchildren Maura, Logan, Avery, and Sean. He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter Candace Stiltz; as well as a great-grandson Garrett Wilhelm.
