FUNERAL:  1:00 p.m., Monday, June 5, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home CALLING:  12:00 p.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home INTERMENT:  Lambert Cemetery with military honors presented by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard Howard "Cactus" Tevis, 77, of Columbus, died at 7:32 a.m., May 30, 2017, at Columbus Regional Hospital. The funeral will be conducted at 1p.m., Monday, June 5, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Calling will be from 12 p.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Lambert Cemetery with military honors presented by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard. Survivors include his companion, Wanda Fisher of Columbus; a daughter, Rebecca Joyce Clay of Richmond, Kentucky; a brother, David Tevis of San Diego, California; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
