Irene McKean April 07, 1939 - April 10, 2010 Irene McKean, 71, of Cottage Avenue, died at 8:05 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2010, at her home. Irene was born April 7, 1939 in Perry County, Ky. the daughter of Fred and Mary (Adkins) DeHart. Irene retired from Cummins Engine Company Walesboro Plant in 2005. She was a member of the Westside Community Church. She enjoyed biking and walking. When Irene was younger she was a beautician and a real estate agent. Irene is survived by a daughter, Desiree Johnson of Louisville, Ky.; grandchildren, Justin Johnson and Aaron Johnson, both of Louisville, Ky.; a great-grandchild; and a brother, Clarence DeHart of Flagler Beach, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, James DeHart; and sisters, Sally Melton and Bessie Barger. Funeral Information FUNERAL SERVICES: Will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Aud officiating. VISITATION: Will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday. BURIAL: Will be at Daugherty Cemetery.
