Dale Moss, 72, of Columbus, passed away at January 24, 2024 at his home. Dale was born July 21, 1951 in Columbus, the son of Richard and Lela Irene Grey Moss. On May 6, 1994, he married his high school sweetheart, Linda S. Lester. Dale was a skilled carpenter throughout his life. In his younger days, he toured many different places as a roadie for Peter Frampton. Dale was a huge NASCAR fan, enjoyed going to horse races and casinos, as well as loved being in nature and the outdoors. He was a member of the Moose 398, the Eagles 741, and the American Legion 24. Dale requested that he be cremated. There will be no services. Dale is survived by his wife Linda; daughters Jacinda (John) Hughes of Columbus and Jennifer Stevens of Seymour; grandchildren Kaylee Irene Hughes, Lacey (Travis) Close, and Brandon (Rachael) Harper; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers James Moss and Rick Moss both of Columbus; sisters Jill Graham and Raquel (Steve) Ketner both of Columbus, and Jody Moss of Freeport, Florida; as well as his two canine children Cami Jo and Charlee Irene. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard Moss and Lela Irene Grey Hillenberg; a brother Justin Moss; and a sister Kay Moss.

    I love that. Even when you were in the hospital a few weeks ago in that bed so sick you still were so handsome. Your obituary was a beautiful love story about you & Linda. And they added the highlights of your life I didn’t know. To me you will always be the man who put a smile on my best friends face & the cutest guy in the Kroger parking lot on 25th st. Love you & Linda so much RIP
