Jack L. Sanders December 18, 1953 - January 06, 2007 Jack L. Sanders, 53, of Elizabethtown, died at 4:06 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2007, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Jack was the owner of Jacks Appliances. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed going to the gambling boat, playing bingo at the V.F.W., auctions, and spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Sanders was born Dec. 18, 1953 in Bartholomew County, Ind., the son of Charles L. and Betty J. Knotts Sanders. He married Jane A. Daniels on March 6, 1972. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Misty (Danny) Palmer of Columbus, Ind.; a son, Jackie Matthew (Angie) Sanders of Columbus, Ind.; grandchildren, Melinda Palmer, Megan Palmer, Makayla Palmer, Trevor Garris, Haeley Garris and Tahnee Garris; brothers, Arthur (Ann) Sanders of Seymour, Ind., Charles (Barbara) Sanders of Columbus, Ind. and Danny Sanders of Columbus, Ind.; and sisters, Mary Jones of Brown County, Ind. and Sharon (Wayne) Fields of Edinburgh, Ind. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sandy Sanders; and a brother-in-law, Kurt Jones. Funeral Information VISITATION: Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday January 8, 2007 and from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Tuesday. FUNERAL: The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ken Lucas officiating. BURIAL:Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
