Jack Lee Snyder

Jack Lee Snyder, 74, of Elizabethtown, died at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Jack was born March 29, 1942, in Bartholomew County, the son of Ralph F. and Bertha E. Khune Snyder. He married Angela M. Fillenworth January 4, 2014.   Jack was a graduate of Franklin College and a U.S. army veteran. He was a member of East Columbus Christian Church and was past-president of the Land Improvements Contractors Association. He served as a special deputy and member of the Sheriff's merit board for 24 years and was a classic car enthusiast.  Survivors include his wife, Angela; daughter, Donna K. (Rick) Johnson of Columbus; brother, Oliver F. Snyder of Columbus; grandchildren, Tiffany Snyder, Rikki Jo Johnson and Hannah Johnson; Barb Snyder; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Ronald L. Snyder; and an infant sister.
