Jackie Dean Fish August 23, 1937 - January 19, 2010 Jackie Dean Fish, 72, of Daugherty Road, Nashville went to be with his Lord and Savior surrounded by his family January 19, 2010. He retired from Cummins Engine Company in 1997 after 38 years of service. After retirement, Jackie served the Lord as caretaker of Wabash Park Campgrounds. He was a member of Columbus Free Methodist Church at 22nd and Maple streets. In our lives we are blessed to know a few people who rise to the level of greatness. Jackie Fish was a great man of God, humble, generous and kind and he exemplified the Christian life. Jackie has been welcomed into Gods presence and is receiving his reward. Born in Columbus Aug. 23, 1937, Mr. Fish was the son of Glenn Lee and Ina Lorene Hanner Fish. He married Ramona M. Eicher July 23, 2006. Survivors include his wife; sons, Charles Glen Fish of Bloomington and Michael A. (Cindy) Fish of Chestertown; daughters, Belinda Fish of Hope, Kimberly Starnes of Columbus, Jennifer (Richard) Copple of New Palestine and Laura (Darin) Gentry of Columbus; grandchildren, Jeremy Hurd, Jackie Hien, Benjamin Gates, Joshua Gates, SaraAnne, Justin Brooks and Emily Copple, Kim Morgan, Jeff Starnes, Mariah and Carson Gentry and Anekah and Alexander Fish; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Sharon) Fish of Columbus; and a sister, Gloria (Ralph) Martin of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Fish (March 14, 2002); a daughter, Rebecca Fish; brothers James and Jerry Fish; and a sister, Martha Henderson. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Columbus Free Methodist Church with the Revs. Lane Loman and Greg Fish officiating. VISITATION: Will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church. BURIAL: Will be at Daugherty Cemetery.
