Jacob Daniel Rudzinski of Bloomington, Indiana passed away of natural causes on December 21, 2024. He was born November 13, 1997, in Columbus, Indiana, graduating from Columbus North High School in 2016. Jake loved the arts and singing in choirs throughout his schooling. He was a member of the Indiana University Singing Hoosiers, and he was a devoted fan of pop star Demi Lovato. He performed in local theatre productions at school and with Mill Race Theatre Company. His love of photography inspired him to capture beautiful and important moments in the lives of his friends and family. His passion for Christmas decorations and love of snowfall brought cheer to those dear to him. He invested in the family tradition of NFL fandom, rooting for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jake loved his family, spending time with his dad, supporting his siblings Kevin and Rachel through their recent weddings, and caring for his loving cat, Nightingale. Jake was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jean Rudzinski, and his grandfathers, Donald Sementino and Robert Rudzinski. He is survived by his father, Randall Rudzinski (Jessica Hehe) of Columbus, Indiana; his siblings, Kevin Rudzinski (Daniel O’Donnell) of Chicago, Illinois, and Rachel Rooks (Graham) of Bloomington, Indiana; his grandmothers, Claire Sementino of The Villages, Florida and Dolores Rudzinski of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and a loving extended family. A memorial service will be held on January 18, 2025, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Welcoming will be 1:00-3:30 pm with a prayer service at 3:30 pm.
