Jacqueline (“Jackie”) Eggermann, age 74, of Bloomington, IN passed away on January 20, 2023. She was born in 1948 in Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Jack and Mildred Timko, and was a graduate of Paul C. Schulte High School and St. Mary-of-the-Woods College. Jackie’s life as an ardent mother and grandmother, cherished wife and dedicated elementary school teacher of 42 years, most of which time was spent at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School in Bloomington, IN, was full and exemplary. Her faith and family came first in all things. She was devoted to them and had an abiding appreciation of the fulfilling and life-affirming meaning they held in her life. Her marriage with Daniel (“Dan”) Eggermann was a happy love affair just shy of 50 years, filled with the shared joys, challenges and sorrows of domestic, career and retired life and punctuated by exhilarating travel adventures abroad, Paris being a favorite destination. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband Dan Eggermann, her beloved daughter Jennifer Crews, her beloved son Paul Eggermann, and her three beloved grandchildren, Cole, Carson and Kylie Crews. She is also survived by her brother Fred Timko. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Nashville, IN on Friday, January 27th at 10:00 am EST with Father Mike Keucher officiating. Friends may gather at the church at 9:00 am before the service to pay their respects to Jackie and her family. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm at Calvary Cemetery in Terre Haute, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Mary-of-the- Woods College, 1 St. Mary of Woods College, Saint Mary of the Woods, IN 47876-1099, or through the funeral home. The date, time, and venue of a Memorial Celebration Mass, anticipated to be held in the Spring, will be announced later. I am blessed to call Jackie my wonderful friend and buddy I had so many humorous conversations about family life situation and just stupid things I loved how much she cherished her family that loves she had for her husband and children and grandchildren was beyond words To say I miss her doesn’t compare to the sadness and heart felt compassion I have for her family has time went on you all became part of my family I will keep you all in my prayers and know that I’m always going to just be a phone call away if you need anything may God bless you all with strength comfort and wonderful memories

    • Jackie and I were grandmother’s together. I will miss her so much along with our grandkids. Our coffee times, our wine times or just plain chit chatting. She was a wonderful n-law. Cole, Carson and Kylie’s hearts are broken. They love her so much. Rest in peace Jackie, I will do my best. ❤️

    • Jackie was a treasured classmate of mine at the Woods. We were both education majors together. She was always so much fun. I remember shopping for bridal gowns right before graduation. She helped me through a difficult time when we were juniors. I will keep you all in my prayers.
