  1. I met Jim & Mary through the CMA.
Jim was my “wing man” on my 1st big motorcycle ride. He said, “Come ride by me, sis.”
I was so blessed to be able to go hear him sing with different groups and his antics with Daniel Rivera were priceless.
    Sing your heart out, Jim!

  2. I met Jim and Mary at church 23 years ago trough a friend.. I’ve been friends with them ever since. He was fun to be around and he’ll be missed

  3. you was a great speaker when you came to dsi and taught us what its like to be on the radio and how it evolved over the years

  4. Went to see him sing MANY times. Love his voice and how he was a great man of God. He always spoke to you as a friend never a stranger.

  5. A wonderful man and servant of God who will be missed greatly. We always enjoyed his beautiful voice and inspired by his testimony. We will miss his warm and encouraging voice every day on WYGS. Our prayers are with the family.

  6. I first heard him sing & met him on a cruise to the Bahamas last year. It was very obvious he loved the Lord and he had talent from the Lord too. I bought his CD “GOD KNOWS” & my husband and I enjoy it! You know Jim’s singing Hallelujah in the house and wish you were here. Lord thank you for wrapping your arms around Jim’s family and friends. If your not saved, give your life to Jesus… like Jim did.

  7. I was remembering Jim this morning before anyone arrived for church and played the song he would often sing, “Wish you were here.” I miss him, but I’m sure he’s glad he’s with the Lord. And he could sing a song to us right now it might be that song. The world was a better place with Jim in it.

  8. james and theresa meyer would like mary and her sons that your are in are thought and pray we well miss jim singing he was a good man

  9. When I worked at Love Chapel and was able to speak on the radio often Jim was there. He was always so joyous and you knew how much he loved the Lord!! A great servant! Peace for all who knew him well.

  10. I meet Jim many years ago when I became friends with his brother Bryan. He always could make ya laugh and that voice when he sang was wonderful. Blended with his brothers and the rest of the New Generation would leave a peace in your heart. Over the years I believe his voice just became more beautiful. My heart goes out to his whole family, but remember is love is always with you and his music will live on in everyone’s heart. Tracy Bingham

  14. I had a little local group called A New Creation back in the 90s till like 2006. Even though Jim knew groups like Gold City and the Kingsmen and others, he invited my group to his radio station in North Vernon and we even played live on air. I said all that to say this, Jim treated us with the utmost respect and we also sang at several venues with Jim and his group. He was a great guy. And Jim I hope you will look up Tony Voss, my best friend and great singer that sang with me and made it to heaven 9 years ago. Tell him I miss him and love him.

  15. Sending prayers to Mary Alice and all the kids and grandkids and all his family and friends.
    Junior and Karen Mays

    • I remember working with Jim at Commonwealth Ins. and also listening to him several times at churches singing.

  16. Sorry we could not attend. I met Jim when my husband sang with him in the Woodsmen Quartet. Ray and I will celebrate our 17 anniversary this month, partly in thanks to Jim. Forever grateful for his friendship. So sorry for the family’s loss.
