James D. "Jim" Turner

James was born May 31, 1968, in Columbus, the son of Linda S. Turner.James was employed by T & K Trucking of Columbus. He enjoyed country music, NASCAR and the Indianapolis Colts. He was a talented musician, singer and artist. Survivors include his daughters, Brandi Turner, Nikki Turner, Allison Turner, Lindsey Turner and Deidree Eaglen all of Columbus; sons, Dustin Turner of Columbus, and Alexander Jeffries and Sebastian Jeffries both of Morgantown, Kentucky; fiancée, Haley Jeffries of Morgantown, Kentucky; brother, Dale Turner of Scipio; sisters, Chris (Don) Lucas of Elizabethtown and Brenda Turner of Columbus; and grandchildren, Dawson Artis-Turner, Layten Gassaway, Maddilyn Alcorn, Kenton Newell and Jadalynn Eaglen. My deepest condolences to the family. I knew Jim back in junior high school and high school. He was a sweet guy with a great laugh and positive attitude. I will always remember his smile. Im very sorry for your loss.

so,sorry for ur guys lose… I grew,so,close with Jim when I was working at willow.. he was the sweetest…. so hard to believe he is gone… he was always smiling when he saw,me. and loved to pick on me… gonna miss u buddy…was hard walking in the other day to see u and to be told u passed;( fly high angel love kayla

Dale was my uncle i wish I could have met him again after he saved me from the foster system to tell him thank you but sadly im just learning today of what he did for me. Thank you Jim for keeping me and my siblings together. I can’t imagine life without them, you helped out when my parents couldnt financially take care of me amd my siblings after my father was injured in Iraq. Thank you uncle Jim.
