Eli Johnson FINAL RESTING PLACE: Charlestown Cemetery VISITATION: 10:00 a.m. until Noon Tuesday at the funeral home MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: Donor's choice of charity James Lester Miles, 64 of North Vernon, IN passed away Friday October 17, 2014 at the Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN. He was born August 13, 1950 in Charlestown, IN to the late Ernest Lester Miles and Dorothy Ellen Huttsel Miles. James was a member of the Lord's Chapel Church in North Vernon. He loved the Lord and loved to tell people about Jesus. He enjoyed fishing and working on vehicles. He was a truck driver for Midnight Flier and R. W. Transport and previously drove for Mount Trucking. James is survived by his sisters, Brenda Scott and Mary Miles of Charlestown; Ernestine (David) Cvelbar of Columbus; Sonja (Greg) Johnson of Louisville, KY and Lori Thomas of LaGrange, IN. James is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Juanita Miles.

I am the Logistics Manager for ATI Portland Forge. Jim was running a route for us from North Vernon to Lebanon, KY and back. I am very sorry to hear of his passing, he was always pleasant and did everything he could for us. My condolences to his family and loved ones, he will be greatly missed.

I am the shipping coordinator at ATI Portland Forge in Lebanon, KY and saw Jim almost every day that he came to our plant. He was always friendly and we talked often. I am sorry to hear of Jim’s passing and give my condolences to his family.
