SERVICES: FUNERAL: Will be conducted at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Duncan officiating. VISITATION: Will be from 3 p.m. until service time Tuesday. Janeth M. Tidwell, 73, of South Cherry Street, died at 10:25 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2013, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. She was born in Columbus, March 3, 1940, the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary Marcella Hilderbrand Hodapp. She married William L. Tidwell on May 23, 1959, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 2012. Janeth enjoyed playing bingo and doing crochet. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by sons, William L. (Marie) Tidwell II, Larry D. (Rita) Tidwell and Allen W. Tidwell, all of Columbus; daughters, Marcella A. (Tim) Edwards and Mary E. (John) Schoonover, all of Columbus; 19 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dick Hodapp of Greensburg, Howard Hodapp of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Allen Hodapp of Columbus; and sisters, Charlotte Barnhart of Columbus, and Ina Sexton of Acworth, Ga. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; a son, Daniel Wayne Tidwell; brothers, Bill Hodapp and Larry Hodapp; and a sister, Dorothy Evans.
