FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Edinburgh Church of the Nazarene, 151130 N. U.S. 31, Edinburgh. OFFICIANT: Rev. Jim Hudson officiating. VISITATION: Calling will be from noon until service time Monday at the church. MEMORIALS: Contributions may be made to the Jennifer McClain Memorial Fund through Salin Bank of Edinburgh. Charles Jason McClain, 36, of Edinburgh, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at his home. Jason was employed for 10 years at Casting Technology. He loved the outdoors, woodworking, working on cars, and karaoke. He also loved his children, his dog, family get-togethers, fireworks and the Lord. Born in Gibson City, Ill., Feb. 3, 1977, Jason was the son of Charles L. McClain and Nelda J. McIntosh McClain. He married Jennifer M. Bowman April 1, 1999. Survivors include his wife; his father, of Indianapolis; sons, Levi, Jacob, Charles Jason Jr. and Brady McClain; daughters, Chelsie, Kaydence and Josie McClain; a brother, Melivn Hazelwood, also known as David McClain, of North Vernon, IN; a sister, Shera Lynn Bryant of Edinburgh, IN; father- and mother-in-law, Larry and Debbie Bowman of Edinburgh, IN; brother- and sister-in-law, Gerald and Laura Adair of Edinburgh, IN; and many loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother.

  1. Jenn i am so sorry. Jason is going to be so greatly missed he was a great friend to alot of people.

  2. I did not work directly with Jason but I did attend some Quality Symposium meetings with him. We always had donuts at the meetings and he really loved those donuts! He always had a smile on his face was very pleasant to be around. He will be missed by all here at work. I pray that God blesses you all in your time of grief. Caron Ludan
