Jean Anthony, 81, of Pine Ridge Drive, died at 7:17 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Jean was born in Taylor, Texas, March 30, 1934, the daughter of Norman and Vera Parker Hall. She married Lansing M. Anthony, who preceded her in death April 23, 2010. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and loved playing games, fishing, gardening and the time she spent farming in Texas. Survivors include her son, Robert W. (Vicki) Anthony of Marseille, France; stepson, Larry M. (Penny) Anthony of Birmingham, Alabama; daughters, Susan (Rahul) Dewan of Columbus and Renee (George) Garza of LaPorte, Texas; stepdaughter, Sharon Pavey of Alvin, Texas; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, Parker Hall.
