Jeffery J. Devening

Jeffrey J. Devening, 60, of Columbus, passed away July 8, 2019. Jeff was born September 24, 1958 in Bartholomew County, the son of Glen K. and Earlene Morgan Devening. Jeff was an avid outdoorsman and was employed with the Bartholomew County Highway Garage. Friends may pay respects Wednesday July 17, 2019 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jim.
