Jerry Alan Cody October 21, 1946 - May 20, 2007 Jerry Alan Cody, 60, of Columbus died at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2007, at his home. Mr. Cody retired from Cummins Engine Co. after 33 years of service. He was a member of ABATE, Corvette Club of Columbus and Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) He contributed to several organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, and loved spending time with his family and his companion Bonnies family. Born in Columbus Oct. 21, 1946, Mr. Cody was the son of William F. Cody Sr. and Lois Jennings Cody. He is survived by a daughter, Gretchan (Tom) Hashimoto of Columbus; Martha Cody of Columbus, who has been his stepmother since he was 12 years old; his companion, Bonnie Horn of Columbus; grandchildren, Amanda and Megan Hashimoto; a brother, William F. Rick Cody Jr. of Columbus; and a sister, Marilyn J. Sis Woods of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Information Visitation: Calling will be Tuesday May 22, 2007 from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Jewell - Rittman Family Funeral Home and also Wednesday May 23, 2007 from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
