Mr. Newbold retired from Cummins Engine Company and was an Army Veteran. Survivors include his wife, Vickie R. Chandler Newbold; daughters, Kimberly A. Newbold of Columbus and Amy D. Newbold Gross of Franklin; brothers, Tom (Deloris) Newbold of Shelbyville and Donald Max (Deanna) Newbold of Indianapolis; a sister, Nell (Don) Lanning of Mays; and seven grandchildren.
