FUNERAL: 10 a.m. Friday, October 12, 2018, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Castle officiating CALLING: 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service BURIAL: Lambert Cemetery Jessica Dawn Hays, 30, of Columbus, died at 1:35 p.m. October 5, 2018, at I.U. Methodist Hospital. Jessica was born October 17, 1987, in Columbus, the daughter of Timothy W. and Brenda A. Imel Hays. She enjoyed singing and attending music concerts and loved animals, with butterflies being her favorite. She was a very giving lady who gave of herself to help others. Survivors include her father, Timothy W. (Karen) Hays and mother, Brenda A. Hays, both of Columbus; sister, Renee N. (Denver) Woods of Columbus; stepbrother, Dillon Davis; grandmother, Lotte M. Hays of Letts; partner, Kristi Nicole Cross of Columbus; a niece, Lillie N. Woods; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
