Jessie Pauline Riddle November 16, 1918 - August 02, 2008 Jessie Pauline Riddle, 89, of Nashville, Ind., died at 8:05 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2008, at Brown County Health & Living Community. Jesse was previously employed at Cummins Engine Company while her husband Martin was in the service during World War II. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, camping, fishing, crocheting and she loved going to church. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Riddle was born November 16, 1918, in Shelby County, Ind., the daughter of W.B. and Elsie Mae Palmer Davisson. She married Martin N. Riddle September 4, 1937. Survivors include a daughter, Jean A. (William III) Robbins of Columbus, Ind.; grandchildren, Lisa Kay Carr, Olivia (Christian) Sutherland, Andrew Riddle, Cheryl (Doug) Weddle and John (Traci) Robbins; great-grandchildren, Dalton K. Gassaway, Demi N. Gassaway, Addicus Sutherland, Eric Carr, Brennen Carr, Catana Robbins and Taryn Strahl; a brother, Lewis (Donna) Davisson of North Vernon, Ind.; sisters, Lucille Bowyer of Florida, Dorothy Bowyer of Ohio and Betty (Bob) Leonard of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Riddle was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on April 25, 2006; a son, Bruce A. Riddle; a grandson, Brian Robbins; a great-granddaughter, Alyssa Sutherland; a brother, Rev. Robert Davisson; and a sister, Alberta Bird. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Bryan Solomon officiating. VISITATION: 11:00 a.m. until service time Tuesday. BURIAL: Bear Creek Baptist Cemetery.
