She was born December 13, 1943 in Brookville to the late Louis and Cecelia (Byers) Mannie. Jo Ann married James Robert (Bob) Sego and he preceded her in death in 1996. She was also preceded in death by her long time companion, Walter DeHaven; a sister, Gladys; and her grandson, Brayden James Jones. She retired from Dolly Madison Bakery in April 2001. She loved reading, watching soap operas and especially being a mother and grandmother. Jo Ann is survived by her daughter, Sandra Sego-Jones of North Vernon; two stepchildren; sisters, Marceda Davis of Columbus and Mary Jane Zagahros of Batesville; brothers, Louis and David Mannie; a grandson and seven stepgrandchildren.
