Joan Mullis
August 31, 1946 ~ June 4, 2019
Joan L. Mullis, 69, of Columbus, went to heaven at 12:05 p.m., June 4, at Our Hospice Inpatient Facility. Joan was born August 31, 1946 in Greensburg, the daughter of Lee B. Veerkamp and Margaret M. Griffin Veerkamp. She married Jerry L. Mullis on April 27, 1968. Joan retired from Krogers after working in the Deli as a manager after 29 years of service. Joan was a member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Seymour. Survivors include her husband, Jerry; daughters, Tracy (Dale) Ault of Seymour, Amy Sornberger of California; sisters, Roberta (Phillip) Cruser of Westport, and Carol (Dwayne) McKinley of Greensburg, IN.; a grandson, Logan Ault. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry Veerkamp
