Patricia “Joann” Page, 84, of Columbus, died at 2:24 p.m., Sunday, March 8, at her residence. Joann was born November 11, 1935 in Allen County, Kentucky, the daughter of Floyd and Irene “Caldwell” Harmon. She married Marvin W. Page who preceded her in death on May 4, 2010. In her early years Joan was a teacher’s aide at Booth-Setser school in Columbus. She enjoyed traveling on Mill Race bus trips. Joann looked forward to spending time with her lady friends. She was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker for many years and will be greatly missed. The time of gathering will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12 noon, Friday, March 13, 2020 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Garland Brook Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to the Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. Survivors include a son, Kerry Page of Indianapolis; granddaughters, Amanda (Dane) Rumler, Cori Page both of Indianapolis; a grandson, Kurt (Jennifer) Page of Skokie, IL. and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and daughter, Cindy Page and a brother, Bobby Harmon. Arrangements provided by Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.   1. It was probably 55 years ago or so that I remember going over to the pages home when I was a kid when our parents would get together to play “Rook” in the kitchen or living room while my brothers and I played with Kerry and his sister.

    My condolences to Joann’s family and her closest team of friends, including my mother, Wanda Hunter.

  2. Joan was such a happy neighbor and role model for me when I was growing up in the 60’s. Everytime I saw her the last few years she still had kind words to share with me and memories. Condolences Kerry and family. Your mother was a great caring, loving lady an a bright light in the world.

  3. Joann was such a wonderful lady the Heavens got a new Angel.. I knew her quite well her Mother Irene was married to my Dads brother Chester Hardy and also she was a teachers aide at Booth Setser School..Shes kept in close contact with our family over the years. She will surely be missed Love ya Joann

    • Jo was one of my favorite people. She had a big heart. She loved her family and adored her grandchildren. She loved candles, especially Yankee candles. This candle is for you Jo. Rest in peace. Thank you for your kindness to our family. xox

    • I use to work with Joan at Booth Setser School. What a special friend and person she was too. We had fun talking, lunches, and even thought about writing a book of all the cute saying, things the kids had done and said to us. RIP Joan. You will be missed!

    I loved her.. she help me through a lot when my mom was sick with cancer…she was one special lady I’ll never forget her
