John T. Thompson September 24, 1927 - February 09, 2010 John T. "Ty" Thompson, 82, of Milton, Ky., died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, at his home. Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, Trudy Walker Thompson; sons, Wayne (Linda) Thompson of Edinburgh, Rick (Vicki) Thompson of Columbus, Randy Thompson of Columbus and Mark (Cindy) Thompson of Columbus; a stepson, Dale (Amanda) Gribbons of Milton; daughters, Claudette (Jeff) Schroer of Elizabethtown, Judy (Phil) Brock of Milton, Teresa (Mark) Hart of Columbus and Terri Thompson of Florida; 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul "Jack" Thompson of Hope, Gearl (Nina Gail) Thompson of Milton, Dearl Thompson of Hope and Donald Robert (Janet) Thompson of Columbus; and sisters, Melvina Shackleford of Columbus and Evelyn Burton of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Emma Kathryn Thompson. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 1 p.m. Friday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Wesley Jones officiating.
