When you first came onto our unit, I wasn’t lucky enough to be one of the nurses taking care of you. I kept hearing all of these wonderful things about you and how funny you were. Fast forward to another stay on our unit. When I clocked in for my weekend shift, I didn’t realize I was in for the treat of taking care of you ;). Even though you weren’t feeling the greatest, you still managed to rattle off your dad jokes and tell me funny stories of your family. We spent a couple more days bantering back and forth and I was able to meet a great number of your beautiful family. You all made me feel like I was part of the family too! Jon, it was a pleasure being your nurse and getting to know you and your wonderful family and I am so glad you were able to be surrounded by all your loved ones before you were called home. You will be incredibly missed down here.
