Joseph Anthony Emanuele

Joseph Anthony Emanuele, 59, of Nineveh, IN, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, CA. He was born on December 7, 1964, in Cleveland, OH to Antonio and Rosa Emanuele. Joseph married Amanda Privette on August 5, 1989. Joseph was an employee at Long's Furniture and Mattress World, where he not only loved his job but also formed lasting relationships with his colleagues. His commitment to his work was paralleled only by the joy he found in the camaraderie and friendships he built with those around him. An enthusiast of the open road, Joseph's pride and joy was his Mustang, affectionately nicknamed the 'Silver Bullett.' It was more than just a car to him; it was a symbol of freedom and the countless memories made on drives with his family. Above all, Joseph was a family man. He cherished the time spent with his family, friends, and co-workers, always bringing laughter and warmth to any gathering. His presence was a comfort and his laughter a gift that will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Calling hours will be from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Amanda Emanuele; father, Antonio Emanuele of Anaheim, CA; daughter, Alicia Emanuele of Nineveh, IN; sister, Josephine (Jim) Hicks of Anaheim, CA; granddaughter, Ava Emanuele; mother-in-law, Catherine Privette of Franklin, IN. Joseph was preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Emanuele and brother, Ben Emanuele.
