Joseph Michael Moffatt

Joseph Michael Moffatt, lovingly known as Mike to his friends and family, passed away peacefully in Indianapolis on September 15, 2024 with family by his side. Mike's life was a testament to the simple yet profound joys of dedication to one's work, the enduring bonds of family, and the unconditional love of animals. He worked at Saps Bakery in Columbus, Indiana from the time he was 16 until he retired. His legacy is etched in the hearts of those he touched, and his memory will be carried forward with love and reverence. The world was a better place with Mike in it, and he will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Mike is survived by children, Sherry Williams, Michelle (Bob) George, Ronda (Mark) Felciano, Ronnie (Kelli) Moffatt, Joseph Michael Moffatt Jr., and Deanna Kroupa; sisters, Beverly Wetzel, Barbara Bragg, and Pamela (Tom) Lanham, brothers, Paul (Shelia) Smith, and Jeff Smith, and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, children, Michael Lee and Kimberly Sue Moffatt, a brother, Daniel Smith and a granddaughter, Stephanie Imlay. In keeping with his wishes there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, one can make a memorial donation to the Bartholomew County Humane Society through the funeral home.
