Judith A. Boffo, 79, of East Legal Tender Road, died June 26, 2017, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Judith was born February 3, 1938, in Columbus, the daughter of Donald and Ethel Armuth Sims.  She married Marvin L. Boffo May 11, 1958, and he survives her. She retired from Cummins Engine Company as an executive secretary in 2000. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and was a cheerleader while attending St. Peter’s School in her younger days.  Judith enjoyed square dancing, playing cards, traveling and going to church. She loved Diet Coke and chocolate, but she especially loved her grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 11a.m. Friday, June 30, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Teike officiating. Calling will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service Friday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, St. Peter's Lutheran Church or Indy SurviveOars, a breast cancer survivor dragon boat team, through the funeral home. Survivors include her husband, Marvin; daughters, Debbie L. (Michael) Schutz of Indianapolis, Teresa A. (Roger) Tuchek of Indianapolis and Kim S. (Joe) Chase of Jupiter, Florida; a sister, Mary Ellen (Brian) Zeh of Frankfort, Indiana; and grandchildren, Tyler Schutz, Derek Schutz, Chad Tuchek, Jacob Tuchek and Bailey Tuchek. She was preceded in death by her parents.
