Judy Carmer

Judy Pelley Carmer, 78, of Wallace Avenue, died at 11:30 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Judy was born March 1, 1937 in Columbus, the daughter of Joe and Mildred Bechell Pelley. She married Thomas Carmer February 28, 1976. Judy retired as head cashier at Marsh Supermarkets in 1999 after 42 years of service. She was wa loving wife and mother. Survivors include her husband, Thomas; daughter, Rachel Waltz of Columbus; stepdaughter, Lonett (Michael) Louclan of Columbus; brother, Dave Pelley of Columbus; and a sister, Rita Dell of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepson, Thomas "T.J." Carmer; daughter, Dianne Waltz; stepdaughter, Lenita Carmer; and sisters, Vicky Fontana and Rose Williams.
