Kameron K. Goodin, 33, of Columbus, IN, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at his home. He was born on September 19, 1991 in Columbus, IN to Jeremy W. Goodin and Lynn A. Reed Goodin.
A lifelong resident of Columbus, Kameron's passion for motorsports ignited early. He found joy in the thrill of automobile racing, dedicating countless hours to go-karting and building and racing RC cars. His competitive spirit was matched only by his skill and precision.
Kameron's love for adventure extended beyond racing. He was an avid outdoorsman who embraced the beauty of nature. Whether it was hiking through the serene Indiana landscapes or simply enjoying the fresh air, Kameron's appreciation for the world around him was evident to all who knew him.
In addition to his adventurous side, Kameron possessed a deep love for culinary arts. He delighted in cooking and was always eager to experiment with new recipes. His zest for trying different kinds of food was matched by his talent for bringing people together through his meals.
Kameron's untimely departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy of passion, joy, and community will live on through the countless lives he touched. Kameron K. Goodin will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will continue to inspire all who had the pleasure of knowing him. The memories of his laughter, kindness, and unwavering positivity will be treasured forever.
Calling hours will be from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
Survivors include his father, Jeremy W. Goodin; children, Baylee Ann Goodin, Grayson, and Kensley Goodin; grandparents, Greg and Gwinna Lanning, Paul K. Goodin and Robert VanHoosier; brother, Clayton Taylor; sister, Kimber Kate Goodin; uncles, Isaac Lanning, Jimmy Goodin, Charlie Reed and Steve Reed; aunt, Tina Fleener; niece, Trinity W. Goodin; nephews, Thomas Goodin-Nichols and Tristin Goodin- Hundley.
Kameron was preceded in death by his mother, Lynn A. Goodin; grandmother, Mary VanHoosier and uncle Lee Fleener.

Kameron told his friend “She always smells so good!” I’m so gutted that I was away on medical leave and didn’t get to hear of this until today. I’m so heart broken for the family. I adore y’all and wish you all the healing and blessings. xo
