Kathryn Sue Leonard

Kathryn Sue Leonard, 74, of Columbus, IN passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Hancock Regional Hospital. Susie was born in Columbus, IN on May 21, 1949 to Byron Campbell and Lorna L. Harvey Campbell. She married Leroy Leonard in November of 1991. Susie was previously employed at Musillami’s Restaurant. She enjoyed boating, bike riding, walking with her grandchildren, fishing with her husband and spending time with her family. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2023 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Jones and Rodney Griggs officiating. Calling will be from 12 p.m. Monday until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Garland Brook Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Leroy Leonard; children, Greg Richey, Sharon (Samuel) Wasmuth, Tina (Robert) Giles, Leroy Leonard II and Tony Wayne Leonard all of Columbus, IN; brother, Mike (Luanna) Campbell of Edinburgh, IN; sister, Carolyn Ozaeta of Columbus, IN; grandchildren, Brandon Davis, Jacklyn Mouser, Zeppelin Mouser, Adria Griggs, Clayton Giles, Lindsey Gray, Holt Giles, Leroy Leonard III; several great grandchildren and sister-in-law, Rita Jewell. Susie was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ricky Richey; brothers, Robert Campbell, Johnny Campbell, Harry Campbell; sister, Patty Anderson.
