Kenneth Saxon Horton March 06, 1935 - November 16, 2009 Kenneth Saxon Horton, 74, of Fairview Drive, died at 7:35 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at Brown County Health and Living Community. Kenneth graduated from Shields High School in Jackson County. After being discharged from the Army, he moved to Hollywood, California. While there, he had a small part in the movie Mad-Mad-Mad World! and changed his name from Kenneth Horton to Kenneth Saxon. He served as a private secretary and escort for Mae West for 25 years and after her death he was employed as a private secretary for Lana Turner for many years. After leaving Hollywood, he moved to Las Vegas where he worked in a bank and leasing company. Born in Madison March 6, 1935, Mr. Horton was the son of Clarence R. and Velma Birley Horton. He is survived by half brothers, Mike Horton and Tony (Rita) Horton, both of Franklin; stepbrothers, Charlie (Ann) Hunter of Leitchfield, Ky., and Don (Pat) Hunter of Somerset, Ky.; a sister, Janet (Paul) Butler of Columbus; a stepsister, Sandra Sutton of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 12 nieces and nephews; and one great-great-niece. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Ruby Horton. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Dustin Haggard and the Rev. Charles Aigner officiating. VISITATION: Will be from 4 p.m. until service time Thursday. BURIAL: Will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
