Kerry Dale Allen, 53, of Seymour, died at 12:45 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, surrounded by his family. In keeping with his wishes, cremation is planned and there will be no services. Inurnment will be at a later date at Rodney Cemetery in Decatur County. Born in Greensburg April 5, 1960, Kerry was the son of Carole Bishop Hughes. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Carole and Maurice Hughes of Columbus; a son, Chad Allen of Greensburg; a brother, Victor Allen of Columbus; nieces, Brittany and Michelle Allen of Columbus; nephews, Jacob Grissom of Columbus, Joshua Grissom of Greensburg and Joseph Grissom of Westport; and his beloved dog, Charlie. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Allen; a sister, Brenda Lynch; and grandparents, Parker and Ruth Bishop.
