Kimberly D. Starnes November 26, 1959 - November 06, 2010 Kimberly D. Starnes, 50, of Columbus, died Saturday, November 6, 2010, at her home. She was born in Bartholomew County on Nov. 26, 1959 to Jackie D. and Barbara A. Wheeler Fish. She married Homer Bud Starnes on Feb. 2, 1990. Kimberly was a school bus driver with Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation for over 20 years. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed reading and fishing. Kimberly had a great love for children, especially her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was a volunteer Court Appointed Child Advocate. She is survived by sons, Jeremy John (Kelly) Hurd and Jeffrey E. Starnes, both of Columbus; daughters, Jacqueline Nicole (Aaron) Hien and Kimberly K. (Rick) Morgan, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Jakob and Victoria Morgan, Nicholas Tarter, Alison Hien and Tyler and Heaven Thompson; a brother, Charles G. Fish, of Bloomington; sisters, Belinda G. Burt, of Hope and Jennifer S. (Richard) Copple, of New Palestine; and several nieces and nephews. Kimberly was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in Jan. 2006; and a sister, Rebecca G. Fish. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2010 at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Lane Lowman officiating. VISITATION: 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday. BURIAL: Daughtery Cemetery. Donations Information MEMORIALS: Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Bartholomew County CASA or the Susan G. Komen Fund to fight breast cancer.
