Kirby G. Parris

SERVICES: In keeping with Kirby’s wishes, cremation is planned. A private service will take place at a later date. Kirby G. Parris, 61, of Columbus, passed away at 12:15 a.m. December 22, 2017 at his home. Kirby was born September 6, 1956 in Indianapolis, the son of Marvin R. and Barbara King Parris. Survivors include children, Kirby G. (April) Parris Jr. of Columbus and Kimberly Ann (Victor) Barnes of Milroy, Indiana; his mother, Barbara King Parris of Columbus; 8 grandchildren; brothers, Marvin R. (Ramona) Parris of Aurora, Colorado and Jeffrey Scott (Michelle) Parris of Columbus; sisters, Cathy (Steve) Pavey and Linda Suzanne James, both of Columbus, and Judith Elaine (Bill) Murphy of Copper Center, Alaska. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Scott Parris; his father, Marvin R. Parris; a granddaughter, Deanna Yeadon; as well as a brother, David Wayne Parris.
