Kisha M. Allman, 45, a beloved and respected part of the Columbus community passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. Kisha courageously battled malignant melanoma with grace and much love and support from her family and many friends. Kisha was born in Columbus on July 28, 1980, to the late Johnny Simpson and Lilah (Almond) Garrett.

She graduated from Columbus North High School in 1998. She was a valuable and devoted team member at Centra Credit Union where she began in the industry as a brand specialist. More recently, Kisha was employed as a Fraud Specialist. She loved her job and the interaction with members and coworkers.

Kisha loved plants and had quite the green thumb. She could grow just about anything. She enjoyed being outdoors, hiking in Colorado and one of her favorite hobbies was attending concerts with her many friends. She loved live music, and many great memories were created at many concerts through the years. Kisha was instrumental in the founding of the Out of Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk that is still active in Columbus. She was proud of Columbus and took great pride in doing her part to make Columbus a great place to live, work, and play. Kisha attended Fairlawn Baptist Church.

She will be forever remembered for her huge heart, her ability to make her friends always feel valuable, her intelligence, strength, and being the absolute rock for so many. Kisha had an incredibly positive outlook and an infectious smile that lit up any room she walked into. She also showed her loved through cooking and could make a mean batch of biscuits & gravy. While she loved people, her animals including many cats and a few dogs were also very well loved by Kisha. Above all, Kisha was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and friend.

Survivors include her husband and best friend, Price A. Allman, to whom she was united in marriage June 9, 2007; children, Caleb Allman Simpson, Riley Seniours, and Indy Allman; brother, Jonathan (Jennifer) Simpson; sister, Shelby Simpson; maternal grandmother, Matilda Almond; paternal grandfather, Osbert Simpson.
