FUNERAL:  1 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home  VISITATION:  11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Larry Boggs, 67, of Columbus, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017, at his home. Larry was born on August 27, 1950, to Francis E. and Pearl Stephens Boggs. He married Mary Boggs. Larry was a U.S. Army veteran and a professional truck driver. He was an adventurer and loved photography, reading and travelling abroad. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Poynter officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Military honors will be provided by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard. Survivors include his brothers, David (Patti) Boggs of Shelbyville, IN, Shelley (Diana) Boggs of Lafayette, TN; sisters, Connie Devers of Columbus, IN, JoAnn Shappard of Vincennes, IN; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Mary; brothers, Roy E. Boggs, Danny Boggs, Thomas Rhinehart and Willard Rhinehart.
