Larry J. Rabb February 09, 1934 - March 17, 2011 Larry Joe Rabb, 77, of Columbus, Ind., died at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011, in Columbus. He was born in Fountain County on February 9, 1934 to Rex and Lena Ruth Cheek Rabb. He married Donna Marie Nelson on September 3, 1973. She survives. Mr. Rabb retired from Causeway Lumber Company. Mr. Rabb played sports while in high school. While in the Navy, he was stationed at Norfolk, VA and Key West, FL. Larry retired from Causeway Lumber Company. He was a member of the Methodist Church of San Carlos Park, FL. Larry loved golf, fishing, boating, woodworking, racing and air shows. Surviving are his wife, Donna Marie Nelson Rabb; three daughters, Kim (Dan) Hunt of Shelbyville, IN; Julie (Jim) Savage of Indianapolis, IN; Allison Cartwright of Indianapolis, IN; one step-son, Perry Jackson of Hope, IN; and one step-daughter, Dodie Fantozzi of Hope,IN. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Rex Rabb Jr; a sister,Margaret Ann Kramer; and a grandson, Jacob Lee Hargrove.
