He used to race cars at Twin City Speedway and 25th Fairgrounds in the 1960s through the 1970s, just to name a few places. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann, of Columbus; his daughter, Kelly (Jay) Moore, of Columbus; son, Greg (Jane) Exner, of Columbus; grandchildren, Megan and Jordan Moore, both of Columbus; and his half-brother, Roy Faulkner.
Larry is preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Delphine Faulkner; his father, James Exner; and two sons, Brian Exner and Anthony “Tony” Exner.
Cremation will take place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. However, a celebration of life dinner will be held at the Columbus Moose Lodge, 330 8th Street, Columbus IN 47201 on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 3 pm. All family and friends are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Arrangements are entrusted to Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
