Lemoine "Sonny" Barnhart Jr. May 11, 1944 - December 30, 2010 Lemoine Vincent Sonny Barnhart Jr., 66, of Waycross Drive, died at 6:05 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. He was born May 11, 1944 in Bartholomew County, the son of Lemoine Sr. and Thelma Dale Barnhart. Sonny graduated from Columbus High School in 1963. He was a sergeant in the United States Army and was affiliated with Lowell General Baptist Church. Sonny was previously employed at Quality Machine & Tool. He enjoyed fishing, coin collecting, collecting baseball cards and spending time with his family. Military rites will be provided by the Bartholomew County Veterans Color Guard. He is survived by brothers, James (Charlotte) Barnhart of Columbus, Roger Barnhart of Aurora, Jerry (Rita) Barnhart of Scipio and Terry (Kathy) Barnhart of Jonesville; 13 nieces and nephews; and 23 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Donald and David Barnhart; and a sister, Dorothy Reynolds. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Revs. Glenn Poynter and Douglas Smith officiating. Lemoine Vincent Sonny Barnhart Jr., 66, of Waycross Drive, died at 6:05 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
