Bill NeSmith FINAL RESTING PLACE: Donaldson Cemetery MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: The Salvation Army or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Lena Eva Zimmerman, 83, of Elizabethtown, died at 1:02 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at her home. Lena was a loving wife and mother, choosing to stay at home most of her life to raise her children. She taught Sunday School at Jewell Village Methodist Church, was an avid gardener, and was self employed as a sales consultant for Bee-Line Fashions. Born in Slickford, Ky., Nov. 6, 1929, Mrs. Zimmerman was the daughter of James Sidwell and Leona Sidwell. She married George Franklin Zimmerman April 4, 1946. He preceded her in death July 29, 2008. Lena is survived by a son, George (Debbie) Zimmerman Jr. of Elizabethtown, IN; daughters, Shirlon (Thomas) Boswell, Barbara (Larry) Hardin, Dona (Greg) Kinworthy, Betty Elgar and Rebecca (Jack) Jeffries, all of Elizabethtown, Brenda (Mike) Carothers of Seymour, IN, and Chris (Bill) NeSmith of South Carolina; grandchildren, Cindy (Matt) Collins, Gary (Robin) Boswell, Mark (Sandy) Boswell, Debra (Doug) Woodard, Katina (Brian) Wyre, Sandi Elgar, Dustie (Mike) Gerth, G.J. (Cathy) Zimmerman, Ryan Jeffries, Alyssa (Todd) Wisner, Laura Elgar, James Elgar, Jennifer Elgar, Mark (Jessica) Grossman, Ryan (Cathy) NeSmith, Randy (Karina) NeSmith, JoAnna Hill, Jessica (Tony) Trier, Krissy (Josh) Johnson, and Travis Kinworthy; 45 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
