Leonard Leroy Brockman, 68, of Taylorsville, died at 4:09 PM, November 4,2020, at his residence.
Leroy was born September 27, 1952 in Columbus IN, the son of Leonard and Mabel Brockman. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his little dog, Coco. He was a big Colts fan and he enjoyed playing his guitar, spending time outdoors and gardening.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday November 7, 2020 at the Revival Full Gospel Tabernacle in Clifford with the Rev. Eli Johnson officiating. Calling will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday at the church. Burial will follow at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Leroy Brockman Memorial Fund through the funeral home.
Survivors include his spouse, Sandy; mother, Mabel Brockman of Mt. Washington, K.Y.; a son James Leonard Brockman of Columbus; a daughter Melanie Kay Hardman of Columbus, a brother David Brockman of Taylorsville; sisters, Patty Kappel, Diana Rowland, Marlene Mauthe, Barb Moore and Regina Ridgeway; grandchildren Joshua L. Brockman, Richard A. Simone, Caitlynn Hardman, Hunter Hardman and Chuckie Hardman.
He was preceded in death by his father Leonard Elvin Brockman, sisters Darlene Moore, Betty McGee and Judy Smith and brother Greg Brockman.
Services were entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
