Linda Marie Eckert, 80, of Reddington, passed away March 4, 2022 at her home. She was born in Columbus, IN on July 19, 1941 to Ernest F. Eckert and Mary Elizabeth “Betty” (Burton) Eckert.
Linda retired from Reliance Electric. She was a member of Elizabethtown Christian Church and loved gardening and working in her yard.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Garland Brook Cemetery with Doran Chambers officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) or Alzheimer’s Association through the funeral home.
Survivors include her brothers, Calvin Eckert of Columbus, IN, and Ronald (Virginia) Eckert of Elizabethtown, IN; nieces and nephew, Vicki Maschino of No. Vernon, IN, Sherry (Brian) Ellis of Holland, MI, Kelly (Shawn) Dixon of Seymour, IN, Chrystal (Jason) Maschino of Shoal, IN, Jeff (Denise) Eckert of Elizabethtown, IN and several great and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Robert Eckert; sister, JoAnn Grein and nephew, David Eckert.
Arrangements were entrusted to Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.

Linda was one of my very best friends through the years! She was so very talented in sewing, singing and encouraging her friends! A great Christian example to her friends! Lots of great memories! Dorothy Mosley Riley
