Lora Mae was born October 21, 1927, in Saline, Indiana, the daughter of Soloman "Toby" and Pearl Edna Froderman Kincaid. She married Jack Dee Lowrey September 2, 1950. Lora Mae was born and raised on a farm, the oldest of five children. She was previously employed at Arvin Industries for 12 years and retired in May 2015 after 49 years of service as a school crossing guard in Columbus. She loved to garden, be outside and going to yard sales. She also loved spending time with her family, helping people and caring about everyone. Survivors include her son, Kevin Lowrey of Columbus; daughter, Kathy (Jay) Trowbridge of Flat Rock; brother, Doyle (Phyllis) Kincaid of Avon; sisters, Marcella (Herb) Campbell of Marshall, Illinois, and Carol Jean (Robert) Beiter of Plymouth; sister-in-law, Rosie Kincaid; grandchildren, Nichole Fairfield, Emily Marie Reynolds and Shawn Trowbridge; and great-grandchildren, Zoe Mae Fairfield, Lily Noel Fairfield and Angelica Marie "Angel" Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; brother, Darrell Kincaid; sister-in-law, Rosie Kincaid; and a nephew, Michael Campbell.






Kathy and Keven, losing your mother is devastating and knowing your mother all my life, I know she has left you beautiful memories to help you through this difficult time. Marcella, Carol Jean, and Doyle, losing your sister is really hard because she was a kind loving person. Our hearts and deep condolences go out to you and all of the family. We all loved her.
