Loren R. Conover

Loren R. Conover, 75, of Fairington Court, died at 5:45 p.m. December 11, 2018, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Loren was born October 11, 1943, in Sheby County, the son of Neulin and Dorothy Conover.   He graduated from Waldron where he played center on the basketball team and still has his Mighty Mohawk class ring. After graduation he worked in maintenance at Admiral for many years where he was well known and liked. Loren was a member of the F.O.E. and enjoyed gardening, reading Louie L ‘Amour books, cowboy music, old country music and John Wayne. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2018, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Boston officiating. Calling will be 10 a.m. until service time Monday.  Burial will be at Van Pelt Cemetery in St. Paul, Indiana. Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. Survivors include his daughters, Kathryn (Jeffrey) Jackson of Hope and Laura (Bill) Richardson of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Christopher Lee Jackson, Erica Watkins, Raychel Richardson and Ashton Martin; and great-grandchildren, Emma, Colin, Vivian, Ezra, Adam and Benjamin. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Richard and Lawrence Conover.
