  1. What a precious lady to have known. I loved her sharing stories of her life its adventures and fun. Her China paintings were as beautiful as she was. A life well lived and life well loved. Moving to Texas from Columbus several years ago makes me miss those moments of learning from true role models as she was to many. Rest in peace, sweet friend.

  2. I’m sad that I won’t be in town for Miss Webb’s funeral, this is one that I had always planned to go to. She was my art teacher for 6 years at Wayne Elementary, inspiring me to go on and graduate as an art major. Years later, I contacted her inquiring about an angel that we made from construction paper in art class. She invited me to her home and knew exactly where that pattern was stored in her (messy?) art room. I still have that pattern and can go straight to it right now, even though my art room looks exactly like hers did. 😊 I feel like she was my spirit sister. I have some of her craft books that I bought at the auction when she finally gave up her home to move to assisted living. I will treasure those books. 98 years, how incredible. Peace be with you Miss Webb as you make heaven even more beautiful.

  3. Luella was a dear Christian lady and I cherish her memory. We came to know and love Luella through her dear late brother and sister in law, Carlos and Ruth Ann Webb, who were all the epitome of solid Hoosier family values. Luella was an accomplished lady and a joy to know. We will miss her but are glad she’s with her family and Lord. A blessed life.
