Lydia A. Pardue

Lydia A. Pardue, 78, of Columbus, died at 6:15 p.m., February 4, 2021, at her home. Lydia was born June 27, 1942 in Columbus, the daughter of James H. and Dortha (Grapevine) Sanders. She married Clifton Pardue, he preceded her in death on March 17, 2007. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 8, 2021 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Derek Carpenter officiating. Calling will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 8, 2021 at the funeral home. Services will be private due to Covid restrictions, but live streaming of the service will be made available at 11:00 a.m. Monday morning by going to jewellrittman.com Burial will take place in the Garland Brook Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or Elder’s Journey Healthcare. Survivors include a son, James Hamilton of Columbus; a sister, Anita (Charles) Bailey of Columbus; a niece, Sharon Coverdale Grimes of Speedway, nephews, Keith (Lana) Coverdale of Seymour, Bryan (Cynthia) Bailey and Erin Marie Bailey, all of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a great nephew, Ethan Reed Bailey. Services were entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
