Lyman Brady Monroe

Lyman was born February 23, 1933, in Indianapolis, the son of Cyrus Brady and Lelia Augusta Donahue Monroe. He married Barbara Jean Ayers June 5, 1955. Lyman was a long-time carpenter and contractor. He was a member of NRA and was a luthier who enjoyed making guitars. Survivors include his sons, Kevin (Linda) Monroe of Columbus, Todd (Cheryl) Monroe of Hope and Pat (Julie) Monroe of Nashville; a daughter, Sandra (Richard) Crawford of Columbus; brother, Larry Joe (Doris) Monroe of Flat Rock; grandchildren, Justin Monroe, Lyman Keegan Monroe, J.B. Monroe, Alexis Roberts and Logan Monroe Crawford; and great-grandchildren, Kaiden James Monroe, Jordan Lee and Samuel Christopher Roberts. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara; brother, Donald Lee Monroe; and a grandson, Christopher Aaron Crawford.
