Madison Paige Holmes, 19, of Columbus, passed away Sunday May 24th at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. She was born August 3, 2000 in Columbus. Madison had a great love for all animals.
Madison is survived by her father, Reese Holmes of Columbus and her mother, Paula (Compton) Amshoff of Cincinnati; brothers Ryan, Robert and Jake and a sister, Britney.
Private services will be held for Madison at a later date.
You will forever be in my soul and in my heart. Rest now my sweet Princess…Just Rest.

maddie was a beautiful girl. I weep for her loss , so young , independent, and with strong ideas. I met her years ago when she was friends with my son. I liked her right away its rare to meet someone that age who speaks her mind. She will be remembered.

I am so sorry for this loss .I recall when she came into this world and the joy in her dads eyes as a dad myself it is often said a dads love is less than that as a mothers love maybe so?but to love a daughter with all our heart is all our heart has to give.God bless you and yours

I saw Madison on “Looking Back” in The Republic today (https://www.therepublic.com/2023/10/26/looking-back-oct-26-2023/) and wanted to try to find out what she had been up to. I only just found out about this today so I know that I am very late, but I’m sorry for your loss. I met Madison and Reese while I was working at Starbucks, and they are both wonderful people.
She was such a gift to anyone who met her. I miss my best friend. I love you Maddie. ❤️
